Dear Family/ friends
What happened this week........... Nothing, except the usual......
I had this crazy urge to end the e-mail there, but I think mom would fly down to Thailand and punch me. :D
But it's true.... except that we did have training from our mission president. And that was way good, We talked about how people don't usually tell you what their main problem is, and how we have to ask inspired questions in order to figure out concerns, and then use the scriptures to over come concerns. but, that may not be as applicable to your life as it is to mine! But no, let me tie this in, in a missionary manor *ehmehm*
In like manor, we must find our own, or our loved ones problems with inspired questions, and over come them with the scriptures, we must love and cherish the scriptures.
Yup.
In other news, we visited one of our recent converts. It was raining really hard, and had for several hours, but that doesn't stop sister missionaries! (not to mention the fact a member was driving us there....) so we get to the RC's house, and it is Flooded! the water went to about the mid calf. our RC, Juline is like "yeah this happens every year." WHAT! yeah luckily we went with the branch president, and he was like "we can help this you just need to build up the wall behind your house." so that's going to get fixed. If you were wondering, it is raining SOOOOOO MUCH. and when it's not raining It's death hot. yep.
Oh I guess this week was more eventful then the opening statement would lead you to believe, another one of our RC's has "belles' Palsy" I'd never heard of it before, but what it is, is half of her face is paralyzed. It's way scary. She just woke up one day, and half her face didn't work. She has to go to shock therapy, and it just sounds awful. She's keeping a good attitude though.
Investigator wise, we are having a little trial in trying to find investigators. But we are working hard to find.
That's about all I got, so I'll leave you with my love, and of course:
Cultural moment: Everyday and 8am and 6 pm the Thai national anthem is played on every radio station. and everyone that hears it must stand still and not talk until the anthem is over.
Spiritual thought: I miss the temple. I hope 1 and a half years is the longest amount of time I don't go. There is such power there. Do your family history! go to the temple!
I love you all! keep the faith! Keep being awesome!
love love love love
